This resort is considered to be the best hotel in Cuba according to traveler reviews of © TripAdvisor. The food is excellent. There is a section called « Garden Villas », a luxury suite with pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, lush garden, etc.
 The Paradisus Rio de Oro is an excellent choice for a wedding, honeymoon or renewal of vows. Moreover, there is a pretty gazebo overlooking the sea for the celebration.
The hotel chain Sol Meliá is renowned for the quality of services offered to the newlyweds.

Direct access to the prettiest beach in Holguin, Playa Esmeralda. 800 meters of fine white sand. This resort occupies the eastern sector of the beach and is accessed via a staircase. The whole complex is located on a small cliff with a magnificent view over the sea.
 It is possible to do snorkeling in the area of Playa Esmeralda Holguin. The best spot is the beach area of the Paradisus hotel. There are some pretty bouquets of coral and many colorful fish.
