Pick-up/drop-off at your hotel, tour guide, transportation in air-conditioned bus, lunch.
Program: (tour sequence may vary)
- Head first to the town of Rafael Freyre where you'll do a short ride through the countryside aboard a steam engine train from the 19th century departing from a former sugar factory.
- Continue the trip to Holguin City to visit a cigar factory, where you’ll learn how the world-famous habanos are made.
- Transfer to the Mirador de Mayabe (mayabe lookout) to visit a farmer's house and have a creole lunch while enjoying breathtaking views of the countryside.
- Head back to Holguin for a stroll in the city parks, with free time.
Suggestions on what to wear and bring:
Comfortable shoes and wear, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, bottled water, camera, cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips.
Notes:
- Not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
