Duration: Activities: approx. 4.5 hours, including transfers approx. 5.5 hours.

Pick-up/drop-off at your hotel, tour guide, transportation in air-conditioned bus, lunch with 1 drink.

Program: (tour sequence may vary)

  • Visit Chorro de Maita (an early colonial archaeological site) and Aldea Tania (a life-size replica of a Taino village), and learn about the way of life and culture of this Aboriginal people.
  • Visit the small fishing village of Boca de Sama and learn more about today's daily life of a rural Cuban community.
  • Next stop is the Guardalavaca Craft Market with free time (~ 1 hour) for shopping.
  • Last stop, Conuco de Mongo Vina an hacienda in the heart of the Cuban countryside, in the Naranjo Bay Natural Park. Visit a mini-zoo and enjoy a traditional meal in a country-style restaurant.
  • Transfer back to your hotel.

Suggestions on what to wear and bring:
Comfortable shoes and wear, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, bottled water, camera (museum may charge a small camera-fee), cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips.

Notes:
- Not suitable for people in wheelchair.
- This tour is not available from Playa Covarrubias hotels.
